Learn basic scratching techniques and take home a foundational exercise to deepen your understanding of music and make listening more fun. \nJuly 15 – Intermediate Mixing* \nBuild on your skills by learning to mix songs\, use faders and knobs\, set cue points\, and experiment with loops and effects. Discover creative approaches to song selection and develop your own unique mixing style. \nJuly 22 – Comparative Techniques* \nExplore mixing techniques across genres like EDM\, hip-hop\, reggaeton\, and more. Learn advanced scratching\, stylistic tools\, and compare beatmatching with dropping on the one. \nJuly 29 – Playlist Curation & Style* \nWrap up the series by learning how to curate cohesive playlists\, prepare for live sets\, and apply your personal style to your mixes. \n  \n*To prepare for the class\, please download Serato DJ Lite found at this link: https://serato.com/dj/lite. Please import all of the music on your laptop into the program and analyze the files. This can take a few hours!
